Kick Off 2019-2020

I don't know about you, but this summer was a busy one for me. Before I knew it it was August and I hadn't done much to prepare for the new school year! There was a brief moment of panic before I jumped right back into the grind. The same thing happens to our students. Back to school anxiety can be very stressful and I'd like to provide you with some resources to help get your child back into the swing and excited for school!

1. Edutopia - Edutopia has numerous resources for parents all dealing not just with anxiety but general back to school resources. You can check them out here

2. Child Mind Institute - Tips for back to school anxiety here

3. Tips for Calming First Day Back to School Jitters - here

The thought of coming back to school can be daunting (yes, even for teachers and school staff), but it can also be so exciting with new opportunities to learn new things, meet new friends and have brand new experiences! I cannot wait for the start of the school year and the opportunity to work with Solanco families and students!
